Who is the legendary person who got your bike back, and for free!!!!!!!

TMF
Nah, that was two bikes ago... I ended up selling it for $1000 on Trademe... compression was 15psi on the left cylinder and I think around 70ish on the right. That bike was munted, but I still put up with it cause it wasn't my first bike (Kinetic GF170, which topped out at 110km/h on a good day)

Never let your enemy see your emotions, for it is the one weapon they will value most.

What an escapade, hopefully you have learnt something this time and someone that can take you to the track day, what you need to do is save all the enthusiasm for the track days and ride like a nana on the road.
I can recall in my early days (a few decades ago) riding a 250 that could pick up the front wheel in third with out thinking, it took me a while to learn to slow down but something that has been worth while in the end.
you might want to try bucket racing, can be done with a cheap bike, still go hard, but not on the road
If you can't be good, be good at it
