But maybe you could find someone more fortunate who has more than 1 bike who would be willing to lend it to you. As for the insurance i know with cars you can pay a small fee (it was $25 or summing) and have a temporary driver for like a week or whatever. So maybe you could do that, borrow a bike and just put your name down as a temporary rider for the weeken

Just a thought my mate did it when she needed someone else to drive her car so it could work for bikes aye.

Have you heard back from the bike shop about a loaner for the weekend??

Steer clear of their GPX?250 - it's a real mongrel! And my mate Hayden has had their Kawasaki 400 for a few weeks now so that's taken. I know they do have a loan scooter though!

Hey - at least you'll really appreciate your bike at the end of it.
