Certainly. Wait till it rattles, clunks and uses/leaks a bit of oil.
Then you know it's finally found its character quotent.

nudemetalz I hope your baby is back home soon.

    Thanks Bonez

All is not lost, I took my XR250 around the coast today.
Nothing like a flat out blast along the beach to get the blood pumping again !!

    (See, I like Hondas too)

I'm sure the boys from WMC will sort the tractor out. Glad to hear that you're able to get out on two wheels again.

I'll have to keep an eye out for the Guzzi around Newlands.

ha ha, problem with that is when the "tractor" is back on terra firma, it will most likely be the Missus riding it.

It was lucky I was the one riding the Guzzi when the leak was spotted. She very nearly took it to work. Had this happened she may not have spotted the leak and the oil on the rear tyre could have caused some "issues"

Of course....or I would have got the phone call from her at the side of the motorway..." umm the bike's just stopped, it made these loud clanging and rattling noises and I had to pull over. It's also very hot. Do you think there's anything wrong with it? "

Well I picked the Guzzi from Wellington Motorcycles today. Very happy with the repair/service and she's running beautifully.
Big thanks to Pete for helping things along.

Pity about the huge gusts that were happening down the motorway on the way home.
Nonetheless, great to be back on her.

Really good to hear that the Guzzi is back on the road.

If it plays up in the future, you could always trade it for a 'Wing.

Hope you and your good lady are both well.

They removed the front engine cover, replaced gasket, did a full service and rear brake pads also.

Ha ha funny you say that, it's nearly becoming true. "We're doing this and oh, BTW found these other problems..."
