Chances of it going *bang* expensively are less if it's a four-stroke. Which is why I bought an FXR as a transport appliance.

Everyone keeps asking this question... if you need cheap reliable transport while you learn, you can't do much better than an FXR, but if you want to go substantially faster than the cages around you, etc, buy something else.
