Jeez not many of you guys have ridden an RGV i'm guessing. I had one for 3 years and it is actually a really reliable bike from my experience. My mate bought an FXR at the same time and his bike and his bike broke down alot compared to the RGV. Always started first time, lighter, good fuel mileage. Also it is way faster than the FXR, so much so that it is in a different league. I rode RG 150s and they had a bit more up top but not much difference. The only thing I like about the FXR is it sounds a bit gruntier. My vote is for the RGV

Yeah, but would that same bike be as reliable now if you picked it up and rode it for *another* three years? You can't buy RGVs new any more, you know.

Yep; saw one in the flesh last year.

(If it isn't single sided, it's well disguised).
Look, it's an itsy bitsy Bandit.
