Look at the picture (specifially the centre of the back wheel) closely, then look at another bike... see anything missing in the picture???
it be missing half a swing arm... thats coz the whole lot is on the other side... hence "single sided swing-arm"

look at both these pictures of the same bike

Blakamin thank you very much i am of understanding now!!! wonda wot dat would look like on my fxr probibly no good. Do you no what kinda price is gud for a full serviceing for my bike i've been quoted $125-150

but realy don't wanna pay dat much. Does that sound like a fair price tho?

Sounds like a standard job, which would be give it a checkover and lube. I doubt they will actually have a real good look or clean out ya carbie for that much.

You need to get details on what exactly they will do to it.

I've paid $240 for a service on my FXR - that one was a bit pricier than usual because it needed some fiddly electrical work.

$125 is a cheap service. Think about it - most shops need to charge $40-$60 per hour for grease monkey time, and it does take two or three hours to give a bike a basic going-over, plus the cost of oil and any parts.

Sorry, has been a while since i have looked at one, i thought that it had a radiator and assumed water cooled. :spudwhat:

RG is god. I used to scare all the big boys on that puppy.
Ultimate 1st bike, cos its cheap, goes like crap, and keeps going till it blows up.
Id buy another one if they still sold new ones.
FXR's were ok, but i used to sit on 145ks all day and get bored.
RG was exciting

hey dude go the FXR they are so much better , RG's may be faster but provide no low down round town power and they sound like a big cicada with its wings tied together ! go the FXR and theres no dicking around with 2 stroke oils either , also FXRs look and sound like they wana go fast !
