Dirty Honda pulled the plug on spares for those unique to the bike.
This includes engine parts I'm told.
Suzuki still provide excellent back up on the RG400/500 at this stage
so I'd go for one of those (if I hadn't done that already )
Some of these NS400's were sold new unrestricted with high reading speedo's.

I think the v3 engine was reversed to what freddy spencer rode in the GP days.

The swingarm is cast and ahead of it's time, at least one write up said if the honda was 500cc it would have been the best over the RG and RZ.

Why 3 pipes?

Because it's has a 3 cylinder engine (V3)./ About 70hp from memory, and 165kg dry? Round about that anyways. Not a bad bike for the time.
