    Hooray for Nick! -->

    Fantastic to hear you are walking again and can obviously communicate pretty well too. hmmm... a bout of Tourettes could definitely come in handy at times. Very convenient about the expected relapses.

    You are definitely lucky to be regaining so much ability, and you really must be a fighter like your Sis told us!

    By the way, did they let you keep your helmet as a souvenir?

    Welcome back, Nick!

    Nick, that you're back on your feed and well along the way to recovery is fantastic news. I can't begin to imagine what your family and close friends went through, and they must all be overjoyed with your progress to date.

    I hope you continue to mend quickly and painlessly, and that day when your wife finally relents and lets you out on a bike again will be closer than you know.

    Ooh! Quick thought...

    A nice compromise would be getting your wife to buy you one of those "Carver" cars! Three wheels and they lean into the corners...

    (ok, so it's NZ 90k... BUT it's either that or back on a bike - right?? )

    The thoughts that goes through my head are always random, and sometimes confusing for even me.
    Nonetheless I can't help but think of the Fatal car crash that you were heading to before your incident. Especially the mental thoughts that must be running through you head in preperation for such a scene. Then also to concentrate on riding your machine through what sounds like a pretty shit piece of road. Its a lot to deal with, and something I certainly have never had to worry about in all my years of riding.

    All the best in a fast a speedy recovery Nick, and to everyone thats taken time out to support the family and help. You're all a bunch of bloody legends..

    Good to hear you've mended as well as you have, well done.

    Hope 'the boys' looked after your family and your needs - I wouldn't expect anything less from them.
