I reckon it looks pretty damn good - although it looks like its got a typically roadie sized front wheel rather than the upsized version on the V Strom's and transalps so it won't be so good on the rougher roads.

Crikey, that webiste quotes it as being essentially a supermoto. I reckon that be right. Small front wheel,the tyres they put on it, and look where the exhaust comes out. I'd hate to stop in the middle of a ford on that. You'll never get it started again... all full of water and so on.

What???

We get all sorts of stuff that the yanks never see. The bureaucracy involved in bring a new road legal model into NZ is peanuts compared with the hoops a manufacturer has to go through in the states.

Pretty good cus now you've got it lol

The Versys is now alive and well in NZ (the yanks missed out though) and also doing well in the UK.

Motorcycle News (main UK bike paper) just rated it top in their comparison test. Thats unusual for them cus if it ain't got 150bhp and sports bars then they normally rate it as naff.

If anyone is interested in the bike then drop in to this site which is dedicated to the bike, all the usual stuff but amazingly a lot of the members are from NZ.
