    Riding in a sling..

So they've put my left arm in a sling, told me to keep it there for a week.

I've managed one day, but now i wanna go for a ride.

It doesn't hurt too much when i hold my arm in a standard riding position, and If i swallow some ibuprofen i should make it town town ok..

To ride, or not to ride! that is the question!

What did they put your arm in a sling for? Also not riding would be the better option, you may do damage that you are unaware of

    DONT RIDE!!!!!!

i did the exact same thing the next day i was on my bike
2 months later i was at a specialist getting steroids pumped into my shoulder and physio for months on end and banned from riding for 3 months, followed by another shot from the specialist a year later...

now 2 and a half years after the accident im still in pain i fucked it good be sensible on week aint that long to wait compared to my life time of pain for being impatient
I've learnt to hide the pain inside, open the throttle and ride away.

"Go for a ride" that's what you want to hear - even though you know it's likely you'll fall off and hurt yourself more. But hey, if it's what you wanna hear... GO FOR IT!!

No, I shouldn't have to justify sarcasm
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
    we will remember them

If you've no insurance by all means ride/drive.

If you are insured the insurance company will just laugh at your claim (I don't know about you, but I ALWAYS crash when I've been told not to ride). Of course you could just go down the fraud route and claim that you weren't injured at the time of the accident, just afterward.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

Maaattte. You'll be right fella. It's just a little scratch. Harden the f'ck up and get on your bike.

Forget the sling. Chicks don't dig cripples, it'll simply cramp your style.

See if you can pull one handed wheelies or stoppies, that'll pull the birds.

Go hard. Go for a long ride right now.

If shit happens it's probably the doctors fault anyway for not giving you faster healing pills.
