just came back from sanson. heading up the hill north out of turakina [towards wangas] theres a slip. its on the long straight heading up, and covers the entire inside lane. was quite large chunks... most bikes would not come out safely. there is a passing lane for northbound traffic, luckily, but not so good if you are overtaking or being overtaken.
if you know anyone riding in the area today, try and contact them. i flashed my light at the sole bike i saw afterwards, and there was a cop flying in that direction, so hopefully they will get it cleaned up. there are shite loads of bikes about today, so hopefully they will make it back ok.
btw... who do we report slips etc to?
