    Redbull sidecar spotted in Auckland

Didn't know they had one... stuck in traffic on The Strand, Parnell in Auckland this morning about 11.30am.

Ok, so it has 3 wheels, but considering I'm sure it was two girls on it, I don't care...

Damn... a bit of Googling says it's a Royal Enfield! (was guessing it was a Triumph - but the girls were in leathers and I uh... forgot to check for brand... I think the leathers were Triumph actually... )

http://www.royalenfield.co.nz/gallery-redbull/1.php (scroll through to a few more at the bottom).

    Ok... this is like... perfect

Fark - a Royal Enfield hauling a chair might actually need some redbull to give it wings.... Worthy as they are I think I'd choose the Triumph to haul a chair...

Did you even look past the mention of girls in the first post? Links there for you matey...

Better than anything I could have done in almost stop start traffic. Phone was in the top box and after a couple of waves and perving at the rig (looked so much like a bonneville from the low slung exhausts) I split past... pity they were stuck there.

I work oppersite the red bull depot in Ponsonby see the sidecar all the time, we go over and get free stuff whenever they are loading up the mini's. Redbull girs aren't bad looking either especially with summer coming on.

The first Red Bull Sidecar was a 500 Enfield Bullet, I remember seeing it at the Classic Meeting at Puke in about 2007. That was replaced after about a year or two by the Triumph.

Yep, it is a Triumph.... last time I saw it, it was being ridden by a very cool chick I know, who also rides a Street Triple (or is it a Speed Triple?) She is more than just a promo girl though, she is a graphic designer for Red Bull.

Does Kendal still ride it? She had mentioned a while back that she might not do it forever... They go to Rosebank Speedway too... I got some envious looks when I got a hug

Hello Kitty, far as I know both of the girls are still doing the bike thing, well as earning some real money. We love hugs.

There is a new chick who does the riding, and the passenger can be any of the red bull team.
Kendal only rides it occasionally now.
