You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say will be quoted out of context, then used against you.
Seen and indicated 175mph on my old RF900, with poor old White Trash holding on for his life.
Speedo was reading 299 for the whole 1/4 mile, but was actually doing 276.
Bike had been geared down though, so thats no surprise.
Still cool to see your speedo reading 299 for a good 5seconds...
299 on the dash all the way from the kink to the hairpin. Probably somewhere around 270-280 actual.
Make it a 250 club and I could join any faster and I'd Sh.... meself.![]()
once i did 125km/h, got caught too... should have known better, now i do.
skidmark passed a hayabusa once when he was on a ZXR250... he musta been going over 300kmh to do that for sure.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.
Closest I've got is 277Kph indicated (measured as 257.57). I've got video evidence too:

Does being on the back of Micro's bike count at a track day?
Not sure what speeds he was doing but I got off limping! Thought being a pillion on his bike I was going to get my knee down...
I have no idea what speeds he was doing down the back straight. But, it was fast, and impressive.

My bass is such a slapper.......I cant stop fingering those strings
not me,closet ive come was 270 kms on the speedo.....no idea if its accurate and i honestly believe thats as fast as a TLS can go on any given day.
Be the person your dog thinks you are...
I owned a Hayabusa for over a year and I'd be lying if I said that I hadn't seen 300 more than once. It is also something that you will only keep up for a very finite amount of time. Partly the reason I sold.
If you love it, let it go. If it comes back to you, you've just high-sided!
