    From the outside looking in

    Hello Kiwi Bikers

My wife recently accepted a job offer in Auckland, so it seems we'll be there in January next year. it's a beautiful country and I'm looking forward to experiencing it. I'll be bringing the scoot, and my main concern about moving to the other side of the world for two years is: "WHERE'M I GOING TO RIDE?"

I do social trail riding and club level Enduros. Do i have some good riding spots to look forward to in New Zealand? Hopefully I won't have to spend every weekend bungee jumping...

Mate, you wont have too much trouble finding somewhere to ride. One of the cool things about NZ is that don't have to travel far for a change of scenery.

    Welcome to KB btw

Thanks Zuki. Sounds good. Besides KB - I have actually found some info on riding spots in NZ and I'm sure your island and I will get along just fine. I'm looking forward to some completely new riding experiences.

Is it possible to do regional enduros on a one day license there? (A good way to ride when you don't have riding mates... yet ) or are there enough social events to keep busy? Judging by this website, there certainly seems to be a bit of a buzz.

thanks again for the welcome everyone. it's nice.
