    Rode a Hypermotard today!

    Lets just say...
Imagine riding a dirtbike with an 1100cc motor! Its bloody insane!
Same brakes and wheels as the 1098. Stops on a dime, very nice riding position, and handles sooooo good!

    I WANT ONE!!

Must admit when I saw them in the magazines/net they looked huge!
But now that I've actually sat on it it's not that bad with regards to my short legs being able to reach the ground.

    Roll on Saturday!

    Pics please...
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
    we will remember them

Oh well my LUST! is gonna have to hold on for next weekend.

I went into Haldanes and proceeded to try out new wet weather gear, whilst there I saw the guys fueling the demo machine up, unfortunately by the time I had bought what I wanted somebody else had taken my baby out for a test!

So instead of 'hanging around like a lost fart in a haunted shithouse' I took advantage of the fair weather and went for a blat to Kaiaua.

    Next time no shopping first!

Yeah, bet that bike will rack up 10 thou K in test rides in no time flat and I must admit that if I had money for Africa and I wanted a blast bike to ride just for the sake of having a thrash, it would be on the "to test" list for sure. along with a longer ride on a KTM Superduke

I have to agree. What a great time to be a motorcyclist. We are spoiled for choice no matter which team you play for. I'll be spending money on suspension and training (as well as the mortgage, food, etc ) before I go shopping for new wheels. Test rides are only for brave people who trust their ability to resist temptation.
