    Yeah, but the 950/990s(that the thread originally refered to) take a 150 rear tyre as they have a 4 1/2" rear rim. You could probably run the 140, but it wouldn't be ideal. I will be going for the Dunlop 908RR seeing as they are supposed to be available here now, and I know they last as I've used one.

    Isn't the 140 standard on the 640A?

    Yep, but as I said above, the thread was about 950/990 Adventures!! Not the lighter less powerful 640.
    I'm sure the 140 is fine for a 640. Great bike by the way, I had one before I got the 990.

    I got one of each (I couldn't bear to part wid my 640E).
    140 is correct.
