Had my first ever win in a race as well, in the 20-29 year old class
Not as much riding getting done for me as their was too many classes for the amount of riders.

Congratulations on your win Buddy L! And nice to meet you too. Good to put some faces to a few of the names out there.
And good to see that Greg's races are a little longer than the last time I attended one of his meets. But I have to say, I sure get bored quick going around and around in circles these days. Perhaps if the fitness was a bit better I would be able to just concentrate on going fast the whole race rather than loosing interest after 4-5 laps.![]()
I'd love to get bored on an MX track. Left shoulder dislocates just doing a crossup and right knee dislocates shutting the car door (got to remember to shut it without twisting) I've had all the ops available.... Still don't regret the racing days tho, I must be brainless, but riding is too much fun to stop.... Oh, and in the break of fifteen years, the body got worse not better....
Enjoy your riding to the full in what ever way you can get it...
Old fart...
You only need two tools in life - WD-40 and Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.
And now a third thing a bloody big gun to shoot theives with!

Harrisville-Ye great! Have to say the guys jumping all those jumps make it look easy but when you get out there it cetailnly ain't.
Its a damn pity their resource consent only allows them a 1-3 practice. So could have done with more time but if you join the club its only 10 bucks for members to go.
Will I go again? yes! as its reasonably close to home its on a Sat which still allows you to go on events on Sunday and the big jumps and big track is great fun. And I desperatly need to learn to jump properly.
Ardmore is smaller and easier but you have a much longer ride time. Harrisville is Harder, jumps are bigger, track is bigger but time is a problem.
I wish these damn councils and government would get their act together with the sport of MX.
Rant Over.
Ardmore again Wednesday I hope Weather and work permitting.
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!
'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '
was that you pushing your bike up the big step up dude, i nearly jumped over you if it was!
