All the usual suspects; Akrapovic, Arrow, Jardine, Leo Vince, Micron, Scorpion, Two Brothers etc etc - I reckon the Akro's the best one but then I'm biased.

Oh and also see Shane's excellent site at http://homepages.slingshot.co.nz/~shanetp/Index.html for more good info/details of ER6f fairing buzz etc

what you guys pay for ya can's?cause im looking at one too
i got renthal KLX 110 bars on mine...since 1 hour ago, heated grips, and a pack rack.
i got a full writeup downstairs...il put it on here soon
the motor is the best bit of the bike..
the worst is the brakes and suspension...but they aint bad.
its a real fun economical bike to ride, and pretty fast too.
it is pretty well thought out, mine has a slight rattle on idle (i hope it aint the cam chain tensioner!)

I got my Akro' can from the UK and it cost just under $900 inc freight, although I think the Scorpion can be had for ~$600?

Mine might be for sale soon though, as I'm looking at swapping the ER6n in the next month or so!

The bike goes surprisingly well, highly impressed.
i had fun dicing with crazy steves GSXR 100 K7 last night.
they are a very easy bike to handle..sportmax's suck in the wet though.
i regularly get mine airborne..and on the back wheel..im just trying to go through the box on the back wheel now.
changing the bars makes a significant difference.

Err the ones here (well the F model) have Ninja written all over them too. Its more of a Kawasaki thing than American.
If you love it, let it go. If it comes back to you, you've just high-sided!

I'm starting to think like that. As much as I'd love to have the ZX10R that I test rode yesterday (first go on a 1000, not that much faster than a 600 I thought) in reality I can't afford the bike first of all and then there's the expensive tyres that need replacing as soon as you get home from the bike shop. And I'm likely to loose my licence or get killed on it. And although I like the aggressive ergonomics, I'm sure a pillion wouldn't enjoy it after a while, and I certainly don't want to wind the throttle too hard and get them hurt as well. Also Insurance for someone my age on one of those things is ridiculous and it'll force me to go third party which is risky with such an expensive machine. So such bikes as the ER6 and the CB900 Hornet I'm starting to consider for the future (happy with my 400 for now).

In saying that I'll probably get a ZX10R end of next year...

I have an ER6F and you get an awful lot of fun for what you pay for. Brakes are not the best but an all round fun bike. Not too fast, not too slow, needs aftermarket noise (Leo Vince on mine) shop around for a good deal.

PS would be grateful if some one can tell me where to go to get this bike improved in a logical way. Priority one to ten. I live in Palmy and money is not an issue. Would like it to be a little faster and a little better on the brakes and suspension
