ok thanks for your reply. We sorta need something thats not over a grand for our kids to wear if we are just weekenders or learners. I can see some who is racing getting a Leatt.
Cheers mate I might get a few for me and my mates to suss themout.
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '

This is exactly what I think of them. And one of the reasons I dont wear one, You need to have full head movment in my opinion, so that you can see fast riders coming up behind you, laughing at your mates who are stuck in that big mud bog that you went around.

looking around backwards is one of the most dangerous things to do, if the fasat guy wants to get around you then he will, normally if you try to get out of their way you nromally create worse problems, hold you line, and the fast guys will get past,

Wellyman, that's why they invented the left/right rule on jumps and such, so the faster person will know what slower traffic will be doing.

And yes, looking back is one of the most silly things you can ever do.

I guess it's the difference between a seatbelt and an airbag when it comes to cheap neck supports and leatt brace.

It's hard to justify the money, but it's even harder to support a quadriplegic.

If i had two younger riders, I wouldn't worry with a Leatt Brace for them until they are into the 85cc or greater classes and stick with the cheaper neckbraces/necknutts as the speeds aren't as high so the protection doesn't need to be as good.

Had word back they have plenty and they say they are the best of the rest. The leatt is night and day better but I might get a couple just to see if these are better than nothing at all.
    I'll Keep you guys posted.
