What would you do with a crusier?

park it in the garage with my sports bike and ride it when Im not out to prove how big my balls are.
I happen to like cruisers -There aint nuffing like a cruise in the country on a hot summers day. Nice lady on the back, riding at leasurely speeds.
like WT said I've had my ass whipped by some darn tallented harley riders.
Mind you there was a guy on a goldwing once showed me a thing or two.

I have had a wide variety of responses from my post but yours would have to be the most defensive. Some people read a lot into a simple scentence. Don't know where you get the tough guy crap from.

I couldn't care less what crusier riders are capable of its apples and oranges as far as I'm concerned.

If I really wanted to troll I would have dropped this poll in the crusier section.

Not nasty at all mate. Just not quite understanding the reason for your poll. Put a poll up with all negative options is either trolling, or assuming everyone thinks like you.

And we obviously don't.

I know I sound like a pompous git but that is entirely the problem with bikers in NZ - we are such a small community anyhoo without splintering ourselves off into smaller groups cos one lot rides jap crap and another friggen unreliable spagettie eaters shit and another overpriced yank shit.
Thats the attitude thats gonna see us all riding 50cc scooters cos everything else has be legislated off the road.
If ya ride a bike mate your ok by me . plain and simple.

I'd have to win one in competition to own a Harley. As a matter of fact even though I give them heaps of slag at times I actually like them. Get on well with the few Harley owners I know. Each to their own. Hell I would ride with a push bike if they could keep up.
If it's got two wheels we have something in common.

Just re-read the thread to find out when the animosity started.
I assumed the poll was done light heartedly, so what did I miss? actually no, dont answer that.
I had a mate who was seriously going to die if e kept on riding his gsxr the way he was. He bought a harley to slow himself down, which he did. Hes easy to follow at night as hes the one leaving sparks. Chics seem to like them thats always a good incentive.

I guess my problem is as light hearted as the thread was intended to be reality is people really do think that way.
There are a whole bunch of young guys on here whose attitudes are being affected by us (slightly ) older and more mature

Biker types. We reallly do need to stick together.
Ohh and on hindsight I probably would sell the harley -But only for financial reasons. I would do the same with a goldwing or a latest model Bussa.
i'd rather have the money to pay for my race bikes.

Just been on a ride and popped into ANZA. There where all these grey haired dudes and dudesses with HDs parked there and not a single German helmet in sight

. All where wearing the standard "uniform" though, you know black leathers. Some of those ol gals wore them well I might add....... :love2:

I have tried a few friends hawgs, and it's not my bag. I like the look of cruisers and all, but having my feet in front of me going through a corner is too much to get used to. It just feels unnatural.
Having said that, I rode a Guzzi 750 cruiser a few months back, and that was the pick of the bunch for handling.
