It would be kinda cool to paint it pink, get some bright as riding gear and join the local HOG club... now there is an idea!!!
I would use it as a boat anchor.
I would sell it in an instant and buy a selection of real bikes.
I would keep it, buy a German helmet, switch to the dark side and ride it with pride.
Push it off the highest cliff I could find.

Would only be a novelty in the Kiwiland, it's already been done in the States.Originally Posted by Bandito

My first though was burn it but then I thought hmmmm how many superbikes can I buy from it if I were to sell it. But then who the f%^k is going to buy it.
Actually a freind of mine bought a ex write off K100 with more dents than my ex missuses car. She used to go to all the bmw rallys -the looks of hooror she got from the bmw guys were great to see
To see a life newly created. To watch it grow and prosper. Isn't that the greatest gift a human being can be given?
Nice troll enima, I think the words you mean are "how many offers am I going to get in the first day?"Originally Posted by enigma51

I have to go along with the comments made by the two gentlemen above.Originally Posted by toads
I'd never ridden a cruiser until my wife passed her test and needed a 250cc machine for two years (UK regs, she has 2 years at 33bhp limit). I spotted a 250 Virago for sale - ideal for her, as at 5 foot tall she struggles with anything even remotely tall in the saddle.
I got her to go for the Virago before she passed, as this meant she had a target to aim for, rather than buying a 125 (our learner limit) and then having to sell it on or even worse, not worry about getting the test passed as she had a bike to ride.
Obviously, this meant I had to ride it home and keep it running until she passed her test... and I loved it. I'd take it out early on Saturday mornings to have a proper play with it.
How much did I love it? Enough to test ride a 650 Dragstar with a real view to selling the Fazer I had at the time and switching to cruisers full time.
Didn't go for the Dragstar in the end (given I put in a lot of commuting miles into the centre of London, I didn't feel it had the inital go that I needed). But I enjoyed riding it and if I had space for more than one bike, I'd have the current SV650S for commuting/when I fancied a blast and a cruiser for more laid-back, leisurely rides and even distance work (I felt like I could have ridden the Dragstar forever).
I'd recommend, if you've never tried one, giving a cruiser a try. It might well surprise you. I know it did me.
(The little Virago will be around for another 12 months until Laura's 33bhp restriction is lifted. If we had the space to keep it and for Laura to get another bike, I'd happily buy it off her and keep it for a weekend plaything)

if i suddenly acquired a harley, i'd unload the kids for a weekend & go cruising with the mrs. that would be awesome.(i'd leave the rocket at home).
I'd heard nice things about the mini-Viragos before, so I took one for a blat a while back. It was just... TOOO... SLOOOOW. It didn't want to rev, and it had even less low-end pull than you'd normally expect from 250ccs of softly-tuned V-twin.Originally Posted by Bob
And, keep in mind, this is from the perspective of someone who's used to riding a 150cc single.
In the end, I don't see much point in a cruiser unless the engine comes with a side order of tarmac-rippling torque, to be perfectly honest.
kiwibiker is full of love, an disrespect.
