    Smile An unforgettable weekend

it all started when i decided to go to wellington to see my cousins.as a young boy with limited funds my budget was set if i had no dramas.but my trip down had many a drama.leaving from hamilton i made my way south.after a brief stop in taupo i carryed on.now to the drama.i came across some ice on the desert road and the bike and myself went down the clutch cover had taken most of the impact and made itself a big hole in it exposing my engine oil to go all over the road.i was ok just a sore leg.but was stuck with no money on phone and no reception.the police later arrived and told me the tow truck was on its way.3 and a half hours later patiently waiting after that some nice people stopped and offered to put me bike in the back of there ute.well i said yes as i was hungry and cold.they took me to turangi where was later told that the tow co. didnt get the message.i left my bike in the garage and went to sought out a place to stay.i was very fortunate to come across the very generous, hospitable, caring, helpful, etc members of the gutbuster crew who made me fell very welcome offering food and beverages,a cabin for a night and even to invite me onto a ride the next day.and to later put my bike onto the back of there ute and give me a ride home.i thank again each and everyone of the gutbuster crew for everything.i will never forget this weekend.the weekend when i became a kiwibike member.

Sorry to read about your spill on the bike. Hope the repair bill doesn't blow the bank balance. Yes there are some really nice people out there and they were able to assist you. Welcome to KB and happy riding, right side up.

You missed a good opportunity to be late for work....again.You could of said you had to push your bike home from Turangi.

I wondered if he went to work today. The poor bugger was stuck in the ute with me coughing and spluttering all the way home.

To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded

Bloody P.C crap,it's easy to type without capital letters sometimes. It is the story which interests people, not how the fark it is typed, full stops, commas, capital letters etc.

bloody good trip by the sound of it
