Need a wheel chock/stand.

Anyone know of a good solid wheel stand that would double as a security device when locked to the back wheel (mostly to prevent tipping).

I've found a company in the UK / AU that sells them, but seems awfully expensive at $300NZD for a chunk of bent metal.. Was wondering if there's anything Kiwi built or anyone that would be interested in chucking one together? (Seems like there would be interest)

Ventura do one similar to that and it's around $240, methinks...

Cycletrans use several of them in their van to transport bikes, as does a mate of mine in his van. Appear quite useful...

Check out the latest copy of kiwi rider, there are a couple of different chok type ones in there - one flash one with a pivot that carries your wheel over centre and one that's just like a push bike stand (that one's only about $30 I think). I'll try to remember to scan the ad's and post them.
