Er, yes. Yes, that subject is something that concerns me. To be honest, as you would expect, I spent a large portion of the weekend travelling at speeds that the constabulary would probably not have smiled upon. A combination of luck, careful selection of location and timing, and a lead rider with a radar detector, however, kept my halo bright and shiny.

I even got a cheery wave and thumbs up from a gentleman riding the other way on a Highway Patrol BMW just north of Rotovegas on Sunday. It was all good.

I would not, however, expect that luck to hold forever.

Was that you I saw northbound on SH2 on the red 600SS, Sunday evening?

Thats a good point though I sort of see the loss of licence as being the least of my worries when letting rip on a 150+ HP sport bike. Especially when it comes to my littlies. As Random says, it is all about discipline and I freely admit, and I shocked myself too, that I wasn't as disciplined on a Hayabusa as I would have liked to have professed.

'Twas not I D. There are a few people who know nothing about motorbikes that are prepared to ride these gutless beasts. No straightline speed but rewarding in the corners.

I was northbound on SH2 on Saturday afternoon though - maybe what you saw was reflected light finally catchinng up with me....
