    KTM engine diagram

Baiscaly i need a exploded view of a 1997 250 sx/exc engine so i can make shure i put every thing in the right place. Fixing the engine for a mate as a favour ,the big end went causing the piston to hit the crank which then broke a chunk off which shredded the barrel.....any help appreciated.

    For help, go to KTMTalk.com.

Parts diagrams can be found on some of the on-line shops such as Munn Racing.
    Cheers,
    Colin

I have a PDF engine manual for the 1999 2 stroke SX and EXC range if you want it. I'm sure the engines havn't changed at all since 1997.

I wasn't meaning for you to buy anything, but to print off the exploded parts diagrams they display as their parts catalogue - which are the same as the printed parts book KTM give you with the bike.

    Like this "CRANKSHAFT,PISTON 250-360 `97":

Available here: 1997 - 250 SX M/Ö (ENGINE) (Munn Racing)
