Now that is just being silly (although did try - but the 30 delay pissed me off)![]()

ah ha..but at least they've woken up and smelt the 98 octane and have got a creamy smooth 4 cylOriginally posted by bikerboy
you can't consider the MV, it's italian and under powered!![]()

The renaissance of the multi's is coming (Rise of the cylinders!?!)...much lusted after machine is the Honda V5. When the revolution comes you twin types can mention our names...and unless the gas axe wielding mob is offering US$30 million, we'll vouch for ya...maybe.
The world is such a cold cruel place.![]()

UNDER POWERED!? those f4's are putting out 140Ps! not bloody bad for a 750! I'd wager the increase in cornering and agility would more than make up for the 250cc disadvantage over a gixxer or R1 on the roads 90% of the time.
and the looks... see, I may use up bandwidth but it was SURELY worth it!
The looks would make up the 250cc disadvantage.....
160hp is great - but what bloody good is it if the manufacturer has to put in a restrictor in first through thirds gears to make it rideable (Suzuki). That is the problem with many of the reviews in the bike mags...often they are more concerned about absolute power - they also ride the bike at 11/10th's - somewhere us mere mortals will never get near.....they are ex-racers, more often than not testing the bike on the track, they are complaining about bikes having issues when they are being pushed to the point none of us will get near.
It would be interesting for a bike mag to hire normal joe average riders to rate bikes (I would offer my services) for everyday riding. This would be more pertinant to us.
Who cares if the GSXR/R1/954/999 etc pushes coming around the esses at Monza when being driven at warp speed 10 with another bike up its date, while the rider is trying to pose for a mag photo and get back to test the other bikes? How does it go around the Clevedon Loop at a speed the average person will ride...this is more important to me.
I would guess in this case - the 954,999,R1, Gixxer Thou, MV, Mille etc would all come out equal (even prob half the 600's along with it) - as we don't have the skills in general to push the bikes to the point at which their faults become evident. To us it is personal preference and opinion (what we read, are told and experience) that influences our choice.
They may look good, but a GSXR750 is still quicker.......and cheaper

That looks cool-is that his lunch box on the back?
Are they testing to see if the soup gets shaken up too much!
Luv it!
you said it wkid... its all pose factor because so few can use the difference... better to get the MV me thinks!!! then the only hardout posing going on is pretty girls wanting their photo taken with you on the bike (or maybe just with the bike) :P
I like the ZX-10! maybe the lunchbox is a telemetry/recording package?
anyone else notice that the ZX-10R has WAVE discs!?
*droooool*
-Nahh, that'd be sensible.I like the ZX-10! maybe the lunchbox is a telemetry/recording package?
-could be a porno video on the way back to the store, yeah thats it.
Luv it!
Was talking to the Kwaka dealer in Wellington and it looks likely to hit the store in about a years time - should be interesting for the big K - as Honda will have the true big bore thou blade replacement out and it is the revamp year for Yammie also - some stiff competition to compete with in their first true thou superbike.....I wonder if Suzuki will look at making any changes of significance in light of this?
This is purported to be the 2004 Daytona 955 on test.....single sided swingarm?.....could be a test mule I suppose.
