You would probably be better off with a Kwaka 1000 (orange....mmmmmm)FZ1, Buell Firebolt,Speedtriple,Tuono,or new Bimoto Drako (mmmmmm), on the tight and twisties. Full on race reps are great where the roads are open and flowing,and the speeds get up over 140K,but at slower speeds, on real roads, are not neccesarily an advantage.
A relaxed riding position, wider bars for more turn-in leverage and tons of torque to spit you out of the corner in the wrong gear - any gear, are of more use for the average road around NZ.
