You would probably be better off with a Kwaka 1000 (orange....mmmmmm)FZ1, Buell Firebolt,Speedtriple,Tuono,or new Bimoto Drako (mmmmmm), on the tight and twisties. Full on race reps are great where the roads are open and flowing, and the speeds get up over 140K,but at slower speeds, on real roads, are not neccesarily an advantage.
A relaxed riding position, wider bars for more turn-in leverage and tons of torque to spit you out of the corner in the wrong gear - any gear, are of more use for the average road around NZ.

Just look at the super Motards at Wanganui..........

See why buying a bike for it looks makes sense.

It might not be the fastest, best value, most powerful etc. but it is arguable one of the , if not the, best looking and I'll never reach its limitations or experience any of its on limit flaws.

Besides when the weather is crap I'm happy just looking at the thing.

My rumour for 2004 is a new ORANGE Z1000 Kwakasaki! (so I can practice what I preach and avoid bending like a pretzel )

yup.. orange for once looks better than green on the Z1000... in fact it looks MIGHTY fine! got good reviews too compared to the Fz1 and Hornet 900.

that 2004 Mille is saucy with it's proper clothes on and all.

How do I bung a damn piccy on this post?  I only see the "attach" option!?!

Also, this is not a *new* bike nor a rumour but again very saucy...esp. for CK and WKID:

Even I like the orange Z1000 ! Caro mio, che una bella motocycletta.

I also think the Aprilia in the right colour combo is pretty nice, tho I"ll never admit it to Blu!
