Absolutely hammering rain at my place right now, it's coming down in sheets with the howling wind blasting it around as well. Not looking good at this stage... I guess we'll see how it looks a bit later on, though.

Dangerous and JWalker: Do ya think we can just give you each a club and see what happens?

yeah, your comment doesn't suprise me rashika, and i have my own comments about your riding.

accident prone?, really. cause i have had two scarpes?.maybe you should remeber the facts of what happend at them and the only that has opinon on either one of those crashes is bren_ch, cause he was actually there.

really, tell me more... given that I have never ridden with you

yes accident prone.. I could have been a lot harsher in my comments, but I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt, not something you give other people obviously

accidents are enevitable, the longer you live the closer to 100% your chances of having an accident are.

if we lived forever we'd all die of accidents.

benefit of the doubt?. really, you tell me how i have not given someone the benefit of the doubt?.
i make one comment on here bout trying to help some people with their lines if they want too, they don't have too, its only an offer and i start getting rubbished by D, tell me how that's fair?.
i have had two accidents - one, because i admit i was travelling too fast out of corner.
second one - cause someone turned in front of me. both times i have avoided hitting the vechile and done miniuim damage to my bike and myself and the other person.

i will not rubbish someone on a public forum which is what seems to be happening to me, if i want to say something about someones riding i will PM them. this is not the place for it, this is DE thread, bout setting up a ride and having a good time riding, so it should be left at that.
if you have something to say to me or D, then pm me, don't start rubbishing me on a public forum.
yes, i have ridden with you a couple of times, one of them was down to the magpie madness rally last year. but, i will PM you about it, if you want, i am not bringing it up on here

    Thanks. My thoughts exactly.

As for Dangerous, if you're so experienced and have so much advice to offer, then why aren't you a KB mentor? I was appalled to see theres only 1 mentor in Canterbury. Come on guys, step up!!

sometimes I just cant be bothered arguing the toss when people are too het up to listen and i'm a chick I'm expected to change my mind.

maybe all I will say is the reason there are few mentors here in chch is cos they end up with the brunt of the blame if things shit themselves.
Dangerous has organised a few rides over the years on kb, and done a good job at taking care of people. But it is a stressfull thing and i can understand why he doesn't volunteer at times.
I know there are some damn fine riders in chch, and I will ride with them anyday
But in that situation very small groups are the best to learn in, one on one even... non pressurised and no egos competing

I agree with that. I guess I just value the likes of Uncle B alot. He often took newer riders out one on one and tought them alot about riding. I believe that is the ideal situation, but I understand that it takes someone with a heart of gold and alot of patience for that role. I also understand that theres alot of pressure on the mentors and not alot of reward.
