Agreed. We'd be happy to hang around with the noobies on a shorter ride as the longer mid-week ones don't really suit us at the moment. And now that we have our full compliment of bikes back on the road and the family is recovering from illness we might even be able to get out with you guys.

Actually it's not even necessarily a split between noobies and experienced riders. It's probably just those who want a short ride and those who want a longer one regardless of experience.

Yep, I'll be coming along with the intention of a cruisy mid week ride. I'll be on the DR and happy to take it easy. I think the idea of a cruisy ride for the noobs is a good one.

I am ready, willing and able to get out on the road for a cruise! All is good with th e world tonight. The thief is behind bars, insurance is paying out and my new ride is WONDERFUL!!!!! I still feel sad when I think of the EL all naked and devoid of all its bits. It was a great bike to get my confidence back up and eager to be on the road again and I became quite attached to it over the short 4 months that I had it. The Jade is a nice ride, possibly nicer than the EL but it is not quite the same. Can't wait to get out there for a decent ride on a nice night. After the last month from hell Oakie and I deserve a bit of ride time together with some like minded individuals. Hope to see you all soon

Good point... except I'm almost NEVER all right at 6.30 am. Certainly wouldn't be safe to get on the bike.

That and the fact we were talking night rides not day rides so an AM start kinda defeats the point.

It's just a case of catering for whoever turns up on the night. Theres no point in going for an "easy" ride if theres no newbies, but on the other hand, if there are newbies we gotta look after them. Maybe on those nights we can split with 2 route options to keep everyone happy

I don't see the need for splitting up the ride to so called newbies and experienced riders, I have been off bikes for years for various reasons so really I am still a noob, I just felt the night was nice and it would be good to get a few more KM's under the belt, heck I could have been with Fireliv and Pheonix at the back very easily, certainly not up with the front markers.

Badgrl rest up and I am sure we will all look forward to your return, was nice to see your mate with that MZ along.
Its not the destination that is important its the journey.

    WITH AN AWESOME SCAR!

that you can nod and tell people "motorcycling" with a tough sneer on your face.

I had surgery on my wrists from old ice hockey injuries, use to tell people "that's where the shark bit me when i was hunting them naked in the waters off Dunedin in July"
