    ehehe my wee fxr

she felt a bit weird to begin with...I wouldnt say sluggish but something felt out of place, I kept thinking there was something wrong with the engine or chain....

but then it eased up and she went nice (perhaps it was in my head)

Thanks for yet another great night out! Good to meet some new people and get to know some of the ones that've been around before a little better. Nice to make it all the way to Diamond Harbour and back without being subjected to a) being pelted with hail b) being soaked by rain and c) chilled by high winds.
Nice photos - and good to see you didn't managed to hurt yourself too badly Q.

Had my first *blink* "phew, I'm still here" experience tonight. Front wheel sliding outwards on a small rock while leaned over around a curve...

As I mentioned to some during this ride I might not be able to make wednesdays in the future since the sailing season is starting out. If anyone are keen on having a look at doing a ride other nights than wednesday around Chch please do send me a PM and we can have a chat about it.

you and TonyB really do have a lot in common, both manage to almost kill ya'selves on a childs play area, even the same one! That'll teach ya to play on things that are too advanced for you both

Good ride peoples, apart from the wee slip on the gravel around the bay... why was I the only one not to miss it? DOH!
Wont be around next week, touring the south

happy to help out if you want, but for now heres some off the cuff info
1- sounds like you are leaning the bike to far and need to move on the bike, also when cornering the foot on that side should be on the balls/toes of your foot.

2- should just be a cable, try parrets for a new inner cable they are on StAsaph st by Fitzgerald.
    cheers DD

Thanks for the offer. Right now phoenix is pulling it to bits to have a look, will try and get a new cable 2morrow if that doesnt help.

Really didnt think I was that far over and I know that I have so many things wrong with my riding style its not funny. But hey 3rd time out so really still getting to it.

Thanks dangerous, right now I think no1 priority is phoenix's suspension cos he aint enjoying it the way it is now.

Not that you guys will run into any issues getting it apart but if you do give me a yell
Its not the destination that is important its the journey.
