Too right - don't get your bike tired, they wear out too quickly - early to bed and early to knock off work, your bike needs time to itself, have some respect eh?

yep, there just like us,they need to rest.I reckon you can feel them getting week on a hot day of riding or just a day of going balls out.generally on the way back from ya journey and after not riding her for a week or so they perform like it was new.1 of the reasons i like to ride in moderation.the long journeys to track days dont help either,i like to take mine on a trailer and just in case i stack it
CYCOSISGood Samaritan.Currently on 4 wheels...God Dam It!!!!!
I thought you took them on trailers so they didnt get (over) tired. Bit like race horses is'nt it? You dont take them in a trailer coz they might crash do you?![]()
Yeah but of you do crash bad atleast you know you can get you and the bike home.Nothing worst than ya bike crapin out at a track day and it was suppose to take you home,Home being a 2 hour ride. Its happened to me and it turned into a very long day.

I actually disagree. I had a real prob getting my little road bike going tonight. Having not ridden it for a whole 5 days!!! cos I took my race bike away in the weekend......................... Pig of a thing took LOTS to get going. Not the first time this has been a prob.
The more the merrier I say!!!!
Gee, can't understand why one of your well respected and cared for machines would ever let you down.Originally Posted by cycosis

nope i dissagree. bikes like a good run -nothing more they like than to see how fast they can go.
To see a life newly created. To watch it grow and prosper. Isn't that the greatest gift a human being can be given?

Just like me it loves to go for a blat even if it is just the 30km commute to work. Obviously though it does not like to be idle........
yes You seem to forget the fuel in the carbs is subject to engine heat after your last run. Fuel has mucky additives- think about it a bit.Originally Posted by Stevo
