I think a good way to summarise the M109R is a very good value for money muscle cruiser. Plenty of grunt and great looks without OTT expensive metal fairings etc that add too much weight and cost.
A good compromise bike for those not willing or unable to spend huge money for an equivalent new HD (usually with a smaller block too).
But those ugly beak lookin front ends!
Quick, someone come up with a non-beak light mod!
I'd so be there then, although I'd have to go and do something really over the top to make it more then just another factory 109 with standard aftermarket parts!

Seen that before. That pic of the Muscle 109R looks like one of those cartoons where a fellow only bought half the body building kit and therefore half his body is built. And the front light still doesnt flow for me. I like Cruiser 109R better.
But then I also don't have $30,000 sitting around right now. Thats what they cost new aint it?

Edited version - long version was a rant on finance-
I dont do finiance. I dont owe money on anything except for a mortgage, and I paid half of the house up front at that. I strongely dont believe in living my life owing money to people. And $10,000 owing on a motorcycle that would be a luxury item I can do without when I already have a bike that works alright and maybe not the flashest (still draws plenty of attention though) aint my cup of tea.
Summary- finance is bad. Say no!
I'll buy an old C109 in 10 years. Hows about that? :P
