I use the Harley oil for engine, its not cheap but is the recommended one, so i stick with being safe.

    Check out this site

    http://www.aussiebuellriders.info/phpBB3/index.php

Bloody cool peeps and its an Australasian site, so ya have got a pretty good chance of actually meeting some of the kiwi Buellers anyway!

    What can I say?

I have done 100,000kms on my X1 Lightning and its the first bike that has ever stayed with me past 20,000kms!
    Why

Cos it sex on wheels. I am more in love with it every time I ride it and she is an everyday ride.

As for yr bike. EXCELLENT choice! If I could afford another bike it would be an XB12R. Its the only other bike I have ridden that comes close to mine for enjoyment factor.

My advice is BE ANAL about servicing and use HD oil...bugger the price, we are talking about the life of yr engine. Sure other people will tell ya to use this oil or that oil but take it from someone who has done ALOT of trouble-free mileage on a Buell... the HD oil is GOOD STUFF!

    Have fun mate...these bikes rock!

Nearly forgot... I was actually doing a search for threads on the Buell rally (couple of weeks time) when I came across this thread!

Anyways... I know Rashika, Dangerous and AJ will be there... but who else is going?

yeah actually I HAVE...demo-ed one June this year...actually I had it for an entire weekend...loved it. But not as much as my X1.

If I ever won Lotto I would definately add a Speed triple to the family.
