Nice choice in bike, have a look at the 600ss also, take a mate from KB who know's duc's to see if it's a primo or in crappy condition. Hubby loves his 600supersport, everyone he talked to said the 900 would be what he was looking for, but he loves it - he's certainly not slow. V-twins perform differently, lots of torque with this bike. A 600 you could get a newer one for less money. McJim got his for less than $7 and it's a 98

Definitely do a decent ride on it before you think of buying one. I had enough trouble getting off one sitting in the shop let alone after a decent ride. Old age strikes again. But if I was younger ...............
