CHCH to Tauranga and return. For new bike.

Off to Tauranga on Wednesday 10th October and returning 11th Oct.Im going up to pick up my next bike.Doing a swap.So if you see a Yellow Suzuki TLR on the road on those days-give us a wave. And if you see me stopped on the side of the road - then im probably lost,as i havent ridden anywhere north of Wellington.Should be a good trip as long as the weather is nice.

Sounds like an awsome return ride coming up.
Mate had a Yellow TLR, sold it to another mate. Bloody good bike.
    Enjoy, and safe travels.

That's a hell of a lot of riding in two days! Awesome road trip though, we'll put in an order for fine weather

You'll enjoy the trip either bike will soak it up. get yourself a Gorilla strop for the ferry though to save battling with tiedowns & bodywork

Gorilla harness strop it's a load rated harness that has sleeves that the handgrips slip into and you attach tiedowns to rings at either end. It keeps everything away from the bodywork when the tension is put on it . They're about $65 to buy. Either whites Distributors or Northern accessories supply them so any bikeshop will be able to get them

Be a long, but awesome ride dude. Take an MP3 player or somthing as it can get pretty boring along some stretches unless of course your really trying out the new busa along the straights.

I will have the mp3 all set to go once i get the kids songs off it,i dont think i could ride all that way having to listen to the Crazy Frog album.
Its a bugger i couldnt get the bike this week as im on holiday but it isnt ready to go just yet,so i have to wait till the 10th till my associate gets back from his holiday before i can head away.

Better crazy frog than rap I reckon. And Waylander, I'm keen to meet up on the wednesday if 200BUSA wants to stop in Tauranga long enough.
