it looks like it's still got a very upright riding position, just like the gpx, looks good, probably handles good, should be a good learners bike

Very upright. Handlebars like a CB250, nothing like a ZXR250 at all (i.e. not clip ons). Should be a fantastic leaners bikeIt is very much a repainted GPX. Having seen it... $5250 would be about what I'd want to pay... come to think of it, I didn't see a price tag on it. Had a look on the bikepoint site... didn't realise a ZZR250 could be brought new in NZ... POA, wankers

Some place in Richmond, NelsonFilco?
/edit: Not on there site... prerelease demo perhaps?
also comes with peddle disc's as well, something to brag about.
Sorry to burst ya bubble guys....
but kawasaki NZ are not going to bring them in , mainly for american market only...
as they would be 8k-9k retail here...according to mt eden mc's.
so he said hes pretty certain that kawasaki new zealand are not bringing them in, this from head of sales.
Bugger.....
Must've been a migfent of my imgafunation![]()
Very cool looking bike, I'm sure it'll sell well here in little old NZCan't see learners sticking to the '70km/h rule' on one of those though

Been, seen and going next year.
Paeroa, world famous in NZ
Same steel frame....same parallel twin....same front forks....same "I sit like this when I take a shit" riding position...All new design huh? Pfft its a GPX with different fairings.

When I talked to hamilton motorcycles they believed they were going to come in at around the same price as the old model but had nothing on paper.
I would be surprised if they didn't. They must have noticed how hyosungs were selling like hot cakes here instead of the gpx250, they can charge a premium in New Zealand as well and the 250 market is large because to petrol prices and learner restrictions.
Rather a unisex bike too.
price?
13?
