Who says scooter riders arn't tough?

I do! Farkin wimp has his feet up. If he wanted 'em dry, he should've wheelied through that little puddle, or gone MUCH faster to create a decent bow-wave, or both.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

During the winter, Remmers Rd got flooded. The water really was quite deep -- they talk about Remuera Tractors, but here's one occasion when the misnomer rang true

I did exactly that to get through the puddle, feet up. Was a bit unstable though, not having the feet on the pegs. It was recommended to me after the fact that the best technique is to put your feet up on the cylinder head/s. Obviously scooter riders might have problems doing that, lol. I believe some joke was made about Guzzi/CX riders.

Easier to do on BMW flat twins young'n. Guzzis and CXs do keep your knees warm though.

Done it a couple of times, works well through water. Cylinders also work as alternate high footpegs to get a different position when you are on long main-road rides.
