    'Girlfriend scared of exhaust tone'

Was browsing a couple of cheap exhuasts on ebay and found this little gem on a $1 reserve auction:

"I bought this item from the dealer upon purchase of bike. It is a used exhaust slip-on, aproximately 1 month of use. Girl friend is scared to get on the bike due to the tone of the exhaust, she says it sounds to fast and scary to ride... so I am putting the stock exhaust back on."

Anyone else had this problem before?

Does the seller offer COD? Smells like scam
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

I'm scared of the sound of washing machines, vacuum cleaners, clothes dryers and irons. But I'm not afraid of bikes. So it's with deep regret that I'm going to have to go out riding while my boyfriend does the house work. Poor me!

Buy her some ear plugs. That way you both get what you want.

my girl made me take the yoshi's off her SV thou because it was too loud and she was sick of wearing ear plugs everyday. Not that I was about to protest, now my bike sounds really nice.

If it doesn't set off car alarms when you go by, it's not that loud
