Lived in Hornby for 20 years and know (knew) this road reasonably well. A good mate was killed going straight through a stop sign and hit a car.

    Tragedy for all.

TG he didn't take someone else out.
    Next event...

And away we go with the wailing and knashing of teeth.

Hang on - I'm sure someone can throw in a "fucking cagers" comment. (Even if it's not warranted).

I'm sure you mean gnashing of teeth. Knashing of teeth is something only trolls do.

From your recent posts, it seems that you don't feel any kinship with other motorcyclists.

In that case, can you please post up a piccy and the rego of your bike(s) so that when a KBer spots you in a ditch or broken down, we can quietly ride on by without threatening you with any help or support.

PS: As has already been pointed out, the word is gnashing.

Anybody hear of this over the weekend?

36 (I think) year old died when they crashed their m/bike into a power-pole in Christchurch, that's about all I have so far.

Yikes, that is the end of my street; but I was in Blenheim for the funeral of my aunt. Was there any report in the Press. Anything on the rider or type of bike?

The road does have a bit of crap on it but nothing to cause that much concern.

We ride and regret the loss of a fellow rider, what ever the cause. RIP.
When you take thousands of photos of your bike does the light from the flash weaken the plastic?
