Stripped for parts. Once stripped, it is impossible to identify which bike the parts came from, and can be sold anywhere (ebay, tardeme)

But so many have been going missing... all over the place... surely they wouldnt get that much stripping them all down to 'parts'... trademe etc... it is too easy to put 1 & 1 together... right??
    *scratches head*... or maybe not...

maybe we need to post a thread with details of all stolen bikes... there may be a seller selling parts that match the types of bikes on the list??...

I really feel for those unfortunate enough to have their bikes stolen...

the scum thats doing it needs to be caught... !!!

It's possibly not too much help, but I can run the rego plates of the van at work on Monday and see what comes up if you like.

one word for people who do this, scum, good luck in getting it back. From experience even if you do its never right, even if it has not been damaged.
Its not the destination that is important its the journey.

Mrs Oakie rang the dealer she bought it from. This is the third stolen bike that they've been advised of today. Look out for your own bikes out there guys.
