    Think most of the bikes are stolen to order by gangs and than either stripped down or sent overseas

    stripped and shipped. by the time you realise its gone, chances are its already been stripped down with the usable stuff packed into a container. anything with numbers likely has them ground off and then dumped.

    my partners panhead has a little thing on the side "dont bother rippin this scoot, its all numbered" and literally every single part on that bike has numbers stamped into. so if anyone did steal it, nothing would be usable as everything is tagged.

    in town i just use the steering lock.

    Lawyers ... pfft! MY cousin is a District Court Judge and OH how I hope he is presiding over the hearing of the guy who stole Mrs Oakie's bike (if they catch him). I think if Stephen hands down a life sentence that may deter a few ...
