Last taxi I used, was an idian fella. Seemed a nice bloke. As soon as my friend and I closed the doors he switched on his little DVD player screen thing to some indian music video/movie thing... started singing... "chia chia chia chia cha! jooop jooop chia chia chia" over and over... ...I could have killed.

    Mod warning

I moved this thread back from PD as people said they wanted to actually talk about a serious issue, being issues with taxi drivers.

If you just want to call Finn a homo, I might as well move it back...

I've thrown out the homo and htfu posts - now, does anyone actually want to discuss the topic?
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Simple solution, next time you actually come accross a good taxi driver ask for their card, then you can request them again next time.
I'd rather taxi with a friend back to their house and crash on the couch than take a taxi by myself, although carrying a nice pointy knife makes me feel much better about it

Remember what I said about Lord Acton ?

Why should a thread in Rant and Rave have to be serious? The very notion of Mr Finn being groped by a taxi driver reduces anything to the absurd.

Methinks you haven't followed this thread ...

The thread started fine. Except everyone decided to fill it with crap.

So, when the thread contained 1 original post and 5 answers which either questioned Finn's sexuality or talked about something completely separate it was destined to end up in PD.

Then people complained that they had something valid to say. Some do, some don't. I'd like to respect that. Would you?

Did you follow the recent results on the survey of taxi drivers undertaken by the TV3 target programme? Shocking, to say the least.

You're going to have to do better than that Ixion.

Absolute power indeed. What drivel. Next you'll be invoking Godwin's Law.

It's an interesting subject really. Haven't given it much thought over the weekend, in fact, taking his keys away and walking home left me laughing. However, given this is becoming quite common, I probably should file a complaint.

Yes, I remember the taxi company, his name, number, rego etc.

Taxis in Auckland seem to be a lot different to those in Welly, although I must admit I don't take a lot at night.

Is this a common occurrence with one particular company? Perhaps a name and shame campaign is in order...

What actually are you miffed about Finn, the lack of professional Taxi service or the over abundance of personal service on offer? Curious, John.

S'allright mate. I'm just interested in the subject.

I'm kinda bored of the subject of your sexuality.

Dodgy taxi drivers are MUCH more interesting.
