I have used biketranz and Jeffs. Both fine, but I recommend Biketranz-they specialize in bikes-nice people too!

Thats what I did - great road trip; If interested, see below:
Quick Trip South
GoGal and I had planned a week off, riding up North during her School hols, and understandably she wanted to use her “new” bike – a neat blue and chrome 750 Shadow she’d done a deal on. Challenge: The 750 was in Christchurch, with the Meanstreak being part of the deal.
The 750 owner couldn’t get time off his new job to meet in Picton, so I took advantage of my flexi time and hit the road on Tuesday lunchtime with the Meanie loaded up, and chased the Ferry time all the way to Wellington! Woah - quite a different seat position to the ST, and where’s that ‘lectric screen? Was very lucky not to meet any of the Constabulary who on at least one occasion was visibly gutted he wasn’t quick enough to clock my 120 km/hr in rural Hunterville. Got a bit wet thru Levin, and pushing the average speed is not a good practice, but got away with it, 100% concentration. Six hours to Wellington is not a biggie, but don’t forget to add in gas stops and road-works!
With much relief, rode up the Ferry ramp at exactly 6.00pm for a 6.15pm sailing – luckily a train wagon got stuck which held them up. Tied the Kawa down safely as a Steward wandered over asking “Is this one of those “Harleys” which never breaks down?” – Yeah Mate – you got it in one!
Off the ferry in the dark and headed for Spring Creek Motel ($63 for a clean warm motel, recommended, pub next door) 15 mins from Picton. Heater on and wet gloves and boots duly arranged in front thereof.
Off at 0700 for Christchurch – a much better day, a bit chilly, but what a cracker, with the sun slowly rising over the beaut Southern landscape, the Meanstreak having as much fun as I am with looong roads and no Mobile Tax Consultants in sight. Kaikoura = hot coffee and baked beans to warm the inner soul/sole.

Christchurch came along fairly quickly, found the meeting place easily, washed the bike for final inspection, and looked over the Honda. It was mint, sounded good, and was quite different to others available – just what Jude was after. Only problem, the advert said it had a pack rack, and here I am with a pack! “Sorry Shafty, the racks at my place in Temuka, I’ll courier it to you”, - great! So, strapped the pack to the back seat which was carefully protected by a towel, and off I head after unavoidable delays on the owners part, - chasing a 6pm ferry departure, again!
In brief: the pack worked loose, and I just stopped in time before losing it. Re-secured it and this time it came off at 100km/hr, bugger. No real damage. The clock is ticking. Threw the wet (raining by now) towel on the tank, pack on top, cradled by my arms and legs, - very comfy, Yeah right. The things ya do for love!
Still, made good time, and the Honda cranked up nicely considering it was ½ the size of yesterdays bike. No slips in the rain despite continued enthusiastic application of the throttle and engine braking only. Arrived at Picton after several gas stops that were fast enough for Bathurst, to see the last vehicles disappearing up the ramp – boarding closed, bugger.
I was about to re track to Spring Creek Motel, fully knowing the Pub next door would be open, then spotted a 7pm sailing on Blue Bridge and grabbed it. A Truckers meal warmed me up – great service on these vessels, - and first vehicle off at Wellington in the rain. I always make sure any bike is really warmed up before riding off the ferry – disregarding the “don’t start your engines” requests – the last thing I want is for it to stall going down that greasy steel ramp.
An open garage door and cold beer awaited me at my Brothers place in Lower Hutt as I arrived at 11.45pm.
Phew pressure off – no Ferry to chase is a great bonus the next day, all I need to do is ride this Sucker to Tauranga, not speed too much, and hope my legs return to normal shape shortly thereafter!
And that’s what I did, home by 3pm.
