i ripped my digger blade off and made my own. as long as you have a licence plate light and reflector then all good. Also the rego must be displayed but my friendly mechanic gives it a warrant anyway.

Number plate also has to be illuminated at dark.

what about a mud gaurd or rear fender? are they wof items?

Haven't had any trouble sans mudguard, numberplate light, and reflector, although they are indeed WOF requirements. Cept maybe the mudguard, but I cbf checking.

Yep you can take it off no worrys......as has been said you need a reflector,number plate light,i bought a little led light for the plate and for a reflector i just cut a $5 one you can get from any bike shop in 1/2 and got a wof without problems.,have a look at my profile pic thingy its about as minimal as its gets
