We were out a bit late on Saturday night, so didn't get organized enough to go to the Power ride. Took Grace up to the Sandpit instead to have her first ride on the CRF100. I'd "run it in" at home during the week (not much manicured lawn left..)
She had a great time, big grins, a few offs, but no damage to either bike or rider. To say she's hooked on bikes is an understatement.....
The new car park is better than the old, but the beginner track is quite difficult for a newbie like Grace, who's just learning about gears and clutches. I would recommend going elsewhere for the first time.
Also, think adult price for an 11 year old, just because her bike is over 85cc, is a bit steep.
We'll be back, but she needs to get some more skills somewhere firmer first......
Oh, and she just spent the last two hours meticulously cleaning and polishing said wee beastie...
