    So far

Only thing I've hit are large beetles and bugs. I did however come across a herd of cows on the road out by Gladstone. I stopped (since it was the first time I'd come across this type of thing, and didn't know what else to do!), and finally turned off the engine to wait for them to wonder aimlessly up the road, which allowed me to hear the screeching woman telling me to "gah throo theeem, just gah" hehehe, so I nervously went forward, half expecting them to wander aimlessly into ME!

I don't like BIG, HEAVY, dim animals

Well, on the farm i had to move 3 bulls to a different paddock..... Ofcourse as soon as you get in there, they get all rarked up and start fighting each other..... you just have too make heaps of noise to get them to move..... well one of the bulls decided that the quad was another bull.... i got shunted back about 2 metres when i was doing about 10kmh..... The bull weighs about 900kgs.....

I nearly hit a bird last time I was out on a ride with dangerous. I ducked to miss the bird and dangerous reckons that if I didn't I would have got a faceful of sparrow.

Off road, a cow cut me off will I was shifting her out of a paddock on a two wheeler and she bolted. I was hung over and it was drizzling. Then I become sore, filthy, and pretty pissed off.

On the road one day I hit a hawk that took off from my right hand side and flew right in front of me smashing the clutch lever into my knuckles. It hurt but it was hurtin more I figured from the blood on my tank and pants. Glad he didn't hit the lever on the other side. At 120 it coulda got a little messy huh?

    Damn that's gotta hurt.

Still prefer the one someone else posted from a compilation. As the camera was on board the bike that actually hit the deer, so you saw the deer's eye right before the camera went out.

i attended a bike vs horse fatal at ohinewai about 13 years ago. pretty messy really - horse guts and person everywhere. he was only on a gn250 too - just too fast in the fog, although the horse shouldn't have been there either - had escaped/wandered from the local marae

On an AMCC ride out a guy got hit on the back of the head by a magpie near Waingaro hot springs and left the road and planted himself in a tree. Wrecked bike and a torn ear....don't know about the bird.

I've hit an urban fox; snapped it's neck with the front wheel.....I braked, but as it disappeared towards the front wheel I released and opened the throttle a bit so not to lose the front end. As it was in the road where I lived I carried on and parked the bike in the garage before returning to check my handiwork (didn't want people looking out and thinking I'd taken out their pet cat). It was unmarked and dead; my biggest concern would have been how to kill it if it wasn't dead.

i havent really hit anything but the odd bug as well, ad odd swarm of bees! i have however had about 3 mutts run out at me barking their heads off. causing me to swerve to miss em. 2 off them were just wee yappy things too. gave me a hell of a fright each time too. make you want to go round the block, stop and give em a good kicking. this is in 50 k areas. any one else have this?
