Demerits and license conditions

Hi guys couple of questions,

Got invoiced for doing 83 in 70 km area in car tonight,cop coming towards me and radar detector chimed in,cop went passed,I carried on was doing under 80km,cop then turned round and caught me about 1 km away,He said I was doing 78 approaching him and 83km when he went passed,I said I was keeping with the flow,didn't think I sped up but hey 4-5km maybe as the speed changed to 100km about 350mts further on.Also repied how do you know it was me,he said radar from behind,to which I said could it be someone else.NO it was you.Now thought probably right so although pissed at myself,was even more pissed when the invoice was for 83 not 78.

Question is on the form it says the demerits for this offence,etc etc.Does the cop have to circle the demerit clause to enforce it,my wife rang police info when she was querying hers and was told if not circled,marked it is not applicable.I rang ltsa and the lady said she couldn't answer, but said my points were 20 from a ticket in May.Found that invoice and demerits not crossed,but blank, no marks on it,phoned the police number on back of ticket but outside office hours.

Second question is on my license there is endorsement to wear correcting lens' or contacts,stupid me paid the first fine and on both occasions had same cop,both times he failed to ask me if I was wearing glasses or contacts,seems to me it is pointless adding these endorsements if they are not enforced/asked when being invoiced.

Much rather get my demerits down as only 40 now but doesn't take long to be a goner license wise.Money doesn't worry me as have 56 days to pay,will still send in a letter re license endorsements,as mine only renewed last month and might as well not have the glasses part on it,only really needed if you are in an accident for insurance purposes,and I wear my contacts daily so not abusing my conditions.Also the annoying part is my car is rough(spray can painted)till we do paint it properly after doing dents etc,but has wof and rego,so maybe the cop thought getting me might bring more revenue,i.e no wof,rego maybe no license etc to build up the invoice total.

Demerit on ticket does not have to be circled - the recipient can always figure it out for himself, it's not hard to calculate.

Never ticketed anybody for not wearing their glasses when they should - but I feel it MAY be a $400 ticket, most breaches of licence conditions are that amount. (and 25 demerits)

Cheers for that was hoping you'd be on soon,saw the points on ticket but wasn't sure re indications by officer needed on ticket or not.
Was lucky on the weekend riding to work was doing 110-115km and either cop not had radar on or maybe speedo error as was flickering so was within tollerences.Win some lose some,mind you on the bike I tend to stay around 100-110,went to 125-130 passing four cars on a passing lane,held my breath as went passed a favorite haunt,only time done that speed for 3-5 seconds and windy day that day didn't help confidence either.
