Hmmm. Odd question to ask, but even odder to put it in a poll.
My answer, of course, would be whatever tyre brand you put as the first option in your poll!It just so happens, that the Bridgestones are my favourite on the CBR, so my answer is correct on two fronts.
Perhaps it would have been better to simply ask the question, and then manually collate the answers??? Or even better, Best tyre and worst tyre?

Whatever the best deal is at the time. I reckon all the major manufacturers have their shit sorted, with the exception of Shinko.
Were money not an option though, Metzeler racetecs every 2000km.

Go the Metzelers, then it'd be Pirellis next.

Dunlops for me. (tried D204s, 207s and 207GP/SP) I like the way the send a warning in the post before you crash....they talk lots (ie squirm and slide) before they let go completely.....otherwise I have worn out a few sets of Michelins (Pilot Sports, Macadams and TX) which I found Grip and Grip and then let go completly. Yes I crashed.
Pirelli used to have a very nice calender.....![]()
Yesh they did - haven't seen them for a while. Arty enough that the missus wouldn't mind me putting them up in the garage.....Originally Posted by Blakamin

They were... tyres.
Round, rubbery, looked sorta normal. Never gave me any grief, but never inspired confidence either. If I'd had them on after having Bridgestones on, I reckon I would've crashed.
Because of the tyres, I mean.
Not because I had a lazy bike that kept wanting to lie down in the middle of the road. When it wasn't running things over.
Like cans. Well - only one. That was enough.
Pedestrians. Well, only one of those as well. A feckin lumpy noisy one.
Footpaths. A few of those. But only when the traffic was stopped and looked like it would take, like, y'know, forever to get moving again.
Cars. Just fecking Audis. And BMWs. If they got right in the way.
Otherwise not.
That sort of thing. You know how it is...![]()

A fascinating piece of qualitative market research. What is it exactly, Mr AMPS, that you are seeking to discover?

good question. Any qualatative (is that a word?) marketing results from this site would be errrr.....rubbish.....Originally Posted by Hitcher
