Seems it was a day of bad luck - First major off

Well seems it was a day of bad luck today. I got taken out by an idiot in a cage on West Coast Road, Glen Eden today. Poor scoot is scratched to buggery and I came off second best with a fractured rib and heavy bruising. Glad I wear a full riding kit cause it would have been much worse I imagine.

Also heard that it the ride that was going down to Raglan one of the chaps had an off and busted a rib puncturing a lung and had to be choppered out to Waikato hospital.

Thanks to all that came to my aid, the ambo's, the fuzz, the towey, the bloke on the Hyosung who witnessed it and all the people who came rushing including the off duty police officer who snapped into action . No thanks to the w#*ker c@#t who caused it and did a runner. Up yours toss pot in your dark blue hatch back.

    That really sucks.

Hope they catch the bastard and nail him. The number of cagers trying to kill us is ridiculous. High time they modified the law a little so we could

I'm sure it'd be self defence

Glad you are not too badly busted up, and I hope the cops catch the wanker that took you out.

I grew up in Glen Eden - sounds like the driving hasn't changed! Sorry to hear about your morning but glad you will be ok and that you were smart enough to wear all your gear. Hope they catch the hatchback driver.

    Dirty rotten bastard!

Glad to hear that you in one piece Rhys.

I feel a scooter posse coming on!

Got to watch out for those west Aucklanders - was he wearing a black metallica shirt?

    Heal fast!

However beautiful the strategy, you should occasionally look at the results.

Quick and painless recovery to you, mate!
