    2009 Suzuki RF1000R

Is it a rumour? Could it be true?

Performance Bikes seem to think so...

    I think I like it.

And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

hmm, looks alot like a 'busa that's been on a crash diet!
don't mind the tank & rear; front is too 'bottom heavy' and 'little up top'.

    still, wouldn't say no!

The thing I really liked about my RF was the space to rack up gear for trips and a good seating postion for 2 for distance, Those look like they are called an RF because of the grills on the side.

Yep looks more like a GSXR in concept not a sport tourer like the RF was.

Well initial reaction was "holy shit, fucking awesome"

But actually looking at the arse on that thing... it's so skinny, bah@new models and skinny asses. I was hoping it'd still be a nice fatty sports tour.

It's got grills that doesn't make it a RF. The Bandit 1250 is true to the sports tourer theme whereas the bike shown above (while very nice looking) seems to be just another sports bike. I'll reserve my decision until more is known...

Not too sure I'd take anything printed in PB seriously these days, but that would be an interesting machine to ride.

Not sure that it would make a lot of sense for Suzuki to produce a bike like this. I reckon it would be more practical for them to put a full fairing on the new 1250 Bandit, rather like their 650 for the US market.
